Finger philosophy!! Interesting...

Don't worry we all know it's not the 'universal' finger but just next to it. But here is something interesting about that finger. Have you ever wondered why? I mean why not the pinky? Or the index finger?

Well the Chinese believe this...
- Thumb represents your Parents
- Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings
- Middle finger represents One Self
- Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner
- Last (Pinky) finger represents your children

Ok, now try this position with your fingers.


Try seperating the thumb, followed by the next index finger and so forth and so on.

Notice something? Yup, the Ring finger can't be seperated.

So interesting enough, parents won't be with us forever.
Our siblings will soon lead their own paths in life.
Our children will too one day grow up and start their own.
One thing that sticks is your partner in life. Two become one eh? Kinda cool :)
