Careless...

Had 'Advanced Tax' (equivalent to ACCA P6 paper) exam just bout an hour ago...

Overall, it wasn't as hard as I'd expected.. *phewh* I seriously, deeply, honestly thank God for that! (to God be the glory!!)

So, I thought, good news huh?! LOL.

Well, people always say "all pros comes with cons". Guess this was not excluded.

There was this question on "employment income" tax planning thing.

My lucky day I thought, "Deloitte" drilled me quite well.

It was the last question out of 5 we are required to answer.

When I finished this final question, I felt pleased.
(somewhat:D, you know, that kind of pleased)

After handing up my answer booklet, I discussed as usual with a friend of mine.

She mentioned about her wrong-doings in the exam. As usual, I was "tallying" as we discussed to ensure I'm on the right track. It alll went well until she mentioned the word..

.BONUS.

D*rn!!!... "Bonus was only paid at each year of completion." The question said.

I noted that, and took it out from his first year of employment, 2008. Why did I include it in the following tax computation year(2009) when the taxpayer stopped his employment at 31.12.2008(commenced 1.4.2008) - i.e. Not even 1 year was completed.

Argh...! I noted that!!! I noted that!!!!!! *sigh*

This is so careless of me. (T.T)

This bonus figure affects the tax payable of 2009, and subsequently, my answer on the 'tax plannings' for 'tax savings'!!!!!!

Argh.... I seriously hope(and praying hard) that this will not cost me lots.(as in marks, I mean)

I aimed an 'A' for tax... Will this now fades just because of one element-"Bonus"-affecting it?? No way!! No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh boy, oh boy...

Who doesn't love bonus? I guess, for now - ME! LOL.

Good news is, 1 more down. Last one to go - Audit (2.5.2009)!

Go Sam!!

Highest in the course?! wow.(o.O)

Got our result(marks) for our 'Financial Decision Making coursework & presentation' today. FYI, this subject is a 100% coursework based subject.

After much hardwork done (especially the 'staying up late' part mentioned previously here, here, and here), it's all paid back!!!

We got an 'A' !

We were the only team who obtained an 'A' in our class. What a bliss! woohoo~ I was really happy when I got the news from my class rep.

So, I sent the good news to my group members. Little did I know, the best part has yet to come.

I then received another msg from Michelle(also from my team) which goes:

"FYI, our group is also one of the highest in our course. More applause!"

WHAT?????!!!!!! OMG!!!!!! in our course????!!!! *cough, cough* Our course of 12 groups-345 students!!! That's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WONDERFUL!!! MARVELOUS!!!!!!!! oh WOW!!!! I was sooooooooooooo happy!!!! :D

I like Wan Wai's reaction best, "It was worth staying back so late" LOL. you're right girl!*wink*

Yea I know I'm suppose to be studying. Pardon me for a minute, yes, it'll just take a minute for me to post this post which I could not resist from! haha.. n then, I'll resume to studies again.

Went to Paroimia last night with Melissa & her sister, Leticia. Met Regina there too. The whole play was "thumbs-up" AWESOME!!! Well done!!

2 of my CG pals were the main cast - Daniel Chong (as King Elohim) & Aaron Woon (as Asher). Both of them did a great job yo! They look so different on stage!! Bravo brothers!!!! *applause*

To those who have not seen it, you MUST! there are 3 more plays next Fri, Sat & Sun. 8-10 pm. Unless you have done bookings, be there latest by 6.15pm to queue. The responds were overwhelming.

Oh yea, thanks Regina for warning us before hand about the overwhelming response. We were there early to queue and manage to get a place. Others, who came at 7pm, couldn't even enter. *ouch*

Found two Trailers bout the play. click on it!!
Trust me, it's a 'not-to-miss' play. FYI, Paroimia is a production of FGA, KL. The songs, scripts, costumes, dances choreography etc. were all first hand production of FGA, KL. *feel proud*
