"Walkathon" Organising...

CG pals asked me last night...They: "Why aren't u going to mamak??" (after cg)
me: "I'm going for a hike tmr...! hv to leave my house by 7.30a.m., so, hv to sleep early today!! keke..." ;p
They:"woo... where?"
me:"haha.. i dunno.. i'm following my fren's car there.. haha.. but i guess its somewhere around KL"
Then Jhim said, "KL?? all i noe is Pekan Nanas.."
me:"Where is Pekan Nanas?"
Jhim:"KL Tower.. can hike for 10 minutes"
me: =.=''' *swt*... & laugh!! haha..
So, guess it's true that there isn't anywhere to hike in KL.. coz my hike today turns out to be in Selangor.. n not KL.. haha.. to be specific, it's Kepong.. a place call Metropolitan.. hehe..
We'll be organising a state level "walkathon" this coming August. The event is named "Walk With Me". So, today, we went there for site viewing + surveying!!
We hiked for bout 4 km today.. hehe.. though it was tiring.. keke.. it was fun!! haha..

Well, Well, I'll be heading a team of PBSM(Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah) first aider! In other words.. I'm the head of the first aiders!! keke.. *honoured*

ok.. i don wanna be a grandma doin the story telling.. so, I'll leave the rest of the details to the pixxies i took to tell!! k?? hehe.. check them out!

Don't u think these 2 trees look like some Hindi movie.. haha.. where ppl can stand in between the tree trunk n run from tree to tree?? haha..

Norma gave me a real hard smack(pretend 1 la ofcoz..) when i said that.. haha.. n she shouted out "MEREPEK la u!! haha"

Towards the end of my hike.. I caught sight of this tree.. isn't it the "Flame of the Forest"??
Is it? if u noe.. pls tell me...

Mind you, it's not some normal tiny-weeny ants u see scattering around your cosy house.. they're kinda huge.. somewhat like an army ant!! whooh!! Watch out!

Look at the pond... *yucks*... What are the green-green stuff floating?

Norma & I made 2 assumptions after observing the pond.. hehe..No. 1: it might be due to chemical pollution...(less likely) ; or
No. 2: it's Algal (Algae) Bloom
Anyway, both assumptions will lead to the same conclusion.. i.e. The pond will die in 20-30 yrs time..

Some inconsiderate ppl, throwing their fishing line all over the place.. some even in the pond.. causing death of the fishie!!

Around the corpse of the fishes were tangled up with the fishing lines.. I think that caused the death!!

Yup!! That's bout it... When we left, we saw a team of man running towards their car.. it's like Explorace or Amazing Race.. so I ran fwd to snap the picture of their car.. hehe..

After the site survey, State Commissioner belanja-ed all of us Lunch.. hehe.. Thanks thanks!!
