Walkethon - "Walk With Me"

Date: 2nd August 2008
Venue: Taman Metropolitan, Kepong

Yo!! walk walk walk... it's over!! haha :p

Weather was great throughout the whole event, even better, it was SUNNY!! haha..

Any hiccups throughout the event? erm yup, there's 1.. haha.. a slight 1 tho.. haha.. so no probs.. thank God..

Casualties?? haha.. yup, there is, THREE!! haha.. not very serious one.. ahaha..

In all, the event ran smoothly and better, than expected!! woo-hoo.. there were about 1,500+ participants.. wow! great number!! haha.. Thank God for everything!! :D

The committee arrived bout 6.45a.m. -7.00 a.m. for final preparation b4 the event begins..

(That's y I left CG so early ytd... hehe)

Oh btw, these ballons were used for the registration in the morning.. haha.. when it ends, some creative pplbundled the whole thingy into a ______ (u name it.. haha).. I would call it a "colourful lamp-post" haha.. see below.

As the buzzer goes off, the primary school students ran all the way!! n our walkethon turns out to be a marathon.. haha.. kids, kids...

2nd category, the secondary level, to avoid our walkethon becoming a marathon, we gave prior warnings, on disqualification on those who run.. haha.. well, this wasn't in the plan... NEW experience!

It was great organising such event for the under 18.. hehe.. it was superb fun solely by looking at them having fun too!! haha... The day was indeed tiring & exhausted, but I've learn another level of organising, which is quite self-satisfying!! hehe..

I still have to say this.. Girl Guides Rocks!! haha..
